Job Title: Registered Dietitian – Telehealth Medical Weight Loss

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitians (RDs) to join our rapidly growing remote medical weight loss program. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, to support patients on their weight management journeys—many of whom are utilizing weight loss medications.

This is a flexible, agency/locum-style position ideal for motivated dietitians, including recent graduates who are eager to build their telehealth experience. The more state licenses you hold, the more hours and patient volume we can offer you!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Patient Consultations: Conduct highly structured, 30-minute telehealth consults focused on Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), goal setting, and sustainable behavior change.

• Program Workflow: Guide patients through an intensive 5-week initial consultation phase before successfully transitioning them to a health coach for ongoing maintenance.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with prescribers to provide comprehensive, holistic care for patients on medical weight loss protocols.

• Digital Care Navigation: Utilize our integrated health app to reference and monitor patients' food logs and weight tracking.

• Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): Utilize your own secure personal computer/device to conduct telehealth visits and document patient progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Credential: Active Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.

• Experience: Previous experience or strong foundational knowledge in weight management and MNT. (Newer RDs fresh out of their internship are highly encouraged to apply!)

• Work Style: Understanding of, and comfort with, an agency/locums contracting model.

• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable operating in a remote environment utilizing digital tracking applications and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Qualifications (Stand-Out Candidates)

• Multi-licensed dietitians (Candidates with multiple state licenses will receive priority scheduling and higher hours).

• Active state licenses in Illinois (IL) or Florida (FL) are highly desired.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Previous telehealth experience is a strong plus.

Schedule & Availability

• Flexibility: We offer both Full-Time (~8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and Part-Time schedules (Business hours, evenings, or Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM).

• Time Zones: We cover all US time zones, allowing for a highly customizable schedule.

• Busy Season: Please note that our peak season runs from January through mid-March. During this period, we expect nearly every scheduled hour to be filled with patient visits.
