Job Summary
Our client is seeking a PSR Specialist to manage front office operations and ensure a smooth patient experience. This role involves direct patient interaction, administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate records within a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival and check them in for appointments.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records as needed.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries.
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate records in the clinic’s electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Collect co-pays and process payments for services rendered.
- Ensure a clean and welcoming front office environment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient care processes.
- Handle basic office tasks such as filing, faxing, and mailing documents.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA) and clinic policies.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all patients.
- Active BLS certification.
Skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Familiarity with Epic is a plus, but training will be provided.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, with potential shifts extending until 6 PM.
- Willingness to complete all required health screenings.
