Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join their team. This role is crucial for supporting both clinical and front-desk operations within a primary care setting, focusing on patient service, administrative tasks, and contributing to the growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and document vital signs.
- Complete patient paperwork and manage EMR systems effectively.
- Support clinical duties, including assisting the physician as needed.
- Manage front-desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering phones professionally.
- Make outbound calls to support marketing and business-development efforts for the new practice.
- Ensure strong patient-service and clear communication with patients.

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in a primary care setting.
- Experience with vital signs, EMR documentation, and physician support.
- Prior experience in a primary care or small-practice setting, with the ability to support both clinical and administrative duties.
Skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems.
- Strong patient-service and communication skills.
- Ability to schedule appointments and manage phone communications.
- Outbound calling, patient follow-up, and appointment coordination skills.
Additional Requirements
- Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (32 hours per week).
- Ability to adapt to new responsibilities and an evolving practice environment.
