Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Relations Representative to manage a high volume of patient calls, assist with scheduling, insurance verifications, and provide exceptional customer service. While the primary focus will be in the phone room, there is an opportunity to be cross-trained for check-in and check-out duties within a positive team culture. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a large health system, with a Monday through Friday schedule offering no weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a high volume of inbound patient calls (approximately 80 calls per day).
- Operating primarily in the phone room, with potential for training on check-in and check-out procedures.
- Scheduling patient appointments.
- Performing insurance verifications.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to answer a high volume of calls.
- Great attendance record.
- Great customer service skills.
- Timely completion of tasks.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a physician's office.
- Experience answering a high volume of calls is preferred.
Skills
