Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join their fast-paced, multi-provider practice. This role focuses on clinical back-office duties, administrative support, and managing a high volume of patients daily, playing a crucial role in patient care and practice efficiency.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Prepare rooms, collect vital signs, record chief complaints, and assist providers in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with patient paperwork and handle incoming phone calls as needed alongside core clinical duties.
- Manage 15–20 patients per provider daily within a multi-provider practice.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting that requires strong efficiency and adaptability.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- NCMA or CCMA certification (preferred).
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Proficiency with EMR Systems, including direct hands-on experience navigating Electronic Medical Records to manage patient charts, charting, and documentation accurately.
- NextGen EMR experience (preferred).
- Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred).
Experience
- 2+ years of clinical Medical Assistant experience in a fast-paced clinical setting managing patient intake, vitals, and provider support.
Schedule / Shift
- Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with a 1-hour lunch.
