Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Production Technician to support Sterile Compounding Technicians with critical pre-production tasks in a cleanroom environment. This role involves meticulous cleaning, sanitizing, and transfer of supplies, maintaining rigorous cleanliness standards in ISO 7 & ISO 8 rooms, and ensuring compliance with sterile compounding protocols. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing a full bunny suit throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sterile Compounding Technicians with pre-production tasks in the cleanroom, including unboxing, cleaning, and sanitizing all supplies before entry into the cleanroom.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the cleanroom during compounding and facilitate transfer to the post-production team upon completion.
- Routinely sanitize ISO 7 & ISO 8 cleanrooms at the start, during, and at the end of each day to prevent contamination of compounded drugs.
- Adhere to strict gowning procedures, including wearing a full bunny suit throughout the shift, and complete gown certification training.
Qualifications
- Experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
- Experience in 503B as a Pre-Production Technician is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in pharmaceutical or medical lab sanitizing, or GMP manufacturing.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Requirements
- Comfortable wearing a full bunny suit for a complete shift.
- Must undergo gown certification training during the initial weeks of employment.
- Availability for shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday) or 2nd Shift (1:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Thursday).
- Ability to attend Week 1 Orientation (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday).
