Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient medication distribution. The role involves managing staffing, performance, and compliance, and integrating pharmacy operations into broader clinical workflows to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily pharmacy operations to guarantee safe, accurate, and efficient medication distribution.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and professional development for pharmacy personnel.
• Provide administrative leadership over the 340B Drug Pricing Program, ensuring compliance and financial oversight.
• Integrate pharmacy operations into broader clinical workflows, collaborating with clinicians to enhance patient care.
• Enforce adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations, maintaining audit readiness and quality assurance.
• Participate as an active member of the organizational leadership team, contributing to cross-departmental problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing or immediate eligibility.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy practice experience.
• Proven track record in supervising personnel or directing pharmacy operations.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy law, controlled substance management, and clinical operations.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive pharmacy practice.
• Experience in supervising personnel or directing operations.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong conflict-resolution skills and proven leadership capability.

Additional Requirements

• Schedule: For the first month, Monday to Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Thursday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Afterward, the schedule is customizable to maintain full-time hours.
