Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Lead SQL Developer with expertise in Health Catalyst / SQL EDW development. This role is crucial as our client undergoes an active Snowflake implementation, requiring dedicated engineering support to build and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) dashboards, integrate healthcare data (clinical, financial, operational), and enhance internal capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) dashboards and reporting structures.
- Integrate complex data streams across clinical, financial, and operational domains.
- Support data pipeline, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development during the client's transition/implementation into Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data architecture and business intelligence teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and proper SAM (Subject Matter Mart) creation.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with the Health Catalyst Data Operating System (DOS) platform, Health Catalyst SAMs (Subject Matter Marts), and Health Catalyst EDW architecture.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare domain knowledge, including clinical workflows, financial billing/claims data, or operational health system metrics.
- Advanced T-SQL / SQL development capabilities (stored procedures, views, complex joins, query optimization).
- Deep experience in a hospital/health system environment working on large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).
- Strong data modeling skills with clinical, financial, or operational data pipelines.
- Snowflake experience or familiarity with modern cloud data warehouse migrations is a strong plus.

- Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and optimizing Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).
- Proven track record of integrating complex data streams across clinical, financial, and operational domains within healthcare systems.
- Experience supporting data pipeline, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development during data warehouse transitions or implementations.

- This is a 100% remote contract position.
