Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to deliver innovative learning programs and facilitate engaging training sessions. This role focuses on enhancing new employee orientation, designing curriculum, and driving continuous improvements in learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitation (In-Person & Virtual): Serve as a facilitator for New Employee Orientation and live/virtual programs.
- Structured Internal Consulting: Apply a structured consulting cycle to learning needs analysis and outcomes evaluation.
- Curriculum & Workshop Design: Design workshops using the ADDIE model and adult learning principles.
- Program Implementation & Logistics: Oversee learning programs from setup to closeout.
- Continuous Improvement of Orientation: Enhance New Employee Orientation content for accuracy and relevance.
- Needs Assessment & Appreciative Inquiry: Assess performance gaps and develop learning responses.
- Evaluation & Analytics: Collect and analyze feedback and training data for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in learning and development, training, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
Skills
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills for delivering content to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and the ADDIE model.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and project logistics independently.
Additional Requirements
- Preferred experience in healthcare, community health, or similar complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with eLearning tools like Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPTD, CPLP, PMP) is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.
