Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to assist in various pharmacy-related duties, including processing prescription orders, assisting with the operation of dispensing systems, and improving process efficiencies. The role requires excellent organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Set goals for accomplishing responsibilities within appropriate timeframes.
- Engage in weekly staff meetings.
- Continually seek ways to improve processes.
- Answer incoming and transferred prescription calls.
- Obtain refill/prescription requests from guests.
- Process prescription orders in Script Pro.
- Request doctor authorization for prescriptions as needed.
- Check pharmacy e-mail regularly.
- Assist in the routine operation of the Script Pro robotic dispensing system.
- Process online orders in Script Pro.
- Assist guests in setting up online accounts and autofill.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician - registered in the state of Texas.
