Job Summary
Our client is actively seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage clinical trial activities. The role primarily involves conducting patient visits, performing clinical procedures, collaborating with clinic techs, managing clinical trial data, and overseeing regulatory compliance and investigational product processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 1–3 patient visits per day and schedule admin-focused days for new study launches.
- Perform certified phlebotomy/blood draws and operate centrifuges for specimen processing.
- Collaborate with onsite clinic techs and embedded clinic staff to ensure smooth study flow.
- Input clinical trial data across various study-specific Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platforms.
- Maintain standard regulatory binders and study documentation.
- Oversee investigational product processes and meet with external study monitors.
Qualifications
- Certified for phlebotomy and blood draws.
- Experience operating a centrifuge for laboratory operations.
- Background in Ophthalmology, Retina, and Anterior Segment preferred.
- Proficiency in various EDC platforms for data entry.
- Understanding of standard clinical research regulatory maintenance and audit readiness.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with clinic staff, investigators, and patients.
Skills
- Technical skills in phlebotomy and centrifuge operations.
- Soft skills including communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
Additional Requirements
- Comfortable working in a small, embedded clinic environment.
- Willing to adjust start times between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM.
- Interested in potential long-term role and permanent placement.
