Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Bilingual Registered Nurse responsible for providing excellent patient care through various healthcare responsibilities. The role requires attending to both the team and patient needs, conducting independent nurse visits, managing patient triage, and co-visiting with healthcare providers.
Schedule: M-F 8-5 (Tuesdays and Thursdays are open until 8 PM, so she may be able to work later hours on those days and take time off on other days while maintaining a 40-hour work week.)
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize EHR system (NextGen) effectively.
- Provide injections, medication administration, and patient education.
- Conduct independent nurse visits focusing on wound care, managing INRs, hypertension, UTIs, etc.
- Triage walk-in patients efficiently.
- Perform solo visits for wound care and hypertension, manage patient triage, and handle callbacks on abnormal labs per protocol.
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- 1+ years of experience.
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in nursing.
- Experience in family practice or community settings working with unique population preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency with NextGen EHR system.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in bilingual contexts.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
