Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Medical Biller to support the Revenue Cycle team with the primary responsibility of addressing aged Accounts Receivable (AR). This role involves working across multiple areas of the revenue cycle, analyzing claims, and preventing new claims from aging.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Revenue Cycle team, focusing on aged Accounts Receivable (AR) cleanup.
- Work across multiple revenue cycle areas.
- Review aged AR and identify and resolve causes of claim delays.
- Analyze claims for potential rebilling or write-offs.
- Help maintain current AR and prevent claims from aging.
- Assist with authorizations and other revenue-cycle functions as needed.
- Support pharmacy 340B billing and potentially professional billing, depending on organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Strong Accounts Receivable / AR experience is essential.
- Experience with insurance claims and payment posting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work through complex claims and resolve billing errors.
- Professional billing experience is preferred.
- Must work onsite five days per week in Seattle.
- 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
Skills
- Technical proficiency with systems such as NextGen is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and payment posting.
