Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead their rehab department in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves overseeing a 60-65 person department, improving operational processes, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and team engagement. The position is based in a Level 1 Trauma Center and encompasses leadership duties, including team building and KPI management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate the rehab department.
- Assess departmental processes and recommend improvements.
- Round on weekends and holidays to promote engagement.
- Build and manage a team, focusing on KPIs, efficiency, quality, and engagement.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Skills
- Leadership experience and acute care experience preferred.
- Ability to manage direct reports, including supervisors and administrative staff.
- Discretion in clinical care interventions when necessary.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist.
Additional Requirements
- Full-Time Salaried position with some weekends and after-hours work as needed.
