Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage industry-sponsored clinical trials from startup to closeout. The role involves coordinating complex visit schedules, conducting patient engagement, and ensuring protocol adherence throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate industry-sponsored clinical trials from startup to closeout, managing complex visit schedules and protocol-related activities.
- Conduct targeted patient outreach and manage participant scheduling with ongoing communication.
- Perform routine clinical procedures including vital signs, ECGs, investigational product accountability, and mandatory phlebotomy. Process and ship laboratory specimens according to protocol and IATA standards.
- Maintain accurate source documents, ICFs, CTMS updates, and EDC entry. Resolve data queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare for and support sponsor, CRO, and regulatory monitoring visits and inspections.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of direct Clinical Research Coordinator experience.
- Hands-on phlebotomy/venipuncture skills are required.
- Proven ability to manage 5+ active studies concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with CTMS, EDC systems, and standard eSource workflow tools.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in fast-paced/high volume Therapeutic Areas (TAs).
- CCRC (Certified Clinical Research Coordinator) or CCRP® (Certified Clinical Research Professional) certification preferred.
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related field.
