Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Member Service Representative responsible for providing exceptional customer service. The role involves managing calls from pharmacies, clients, and patients, and delivering the support and information they require. The position emphasizes a seamless service experience across multiple communication channels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a call center/high volume call environment specifically in insurance, pharmacy, or healthcare setting.
- Experience with benefit navigation.
- Proficient in MS Office Suites: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- A current Pharmacy technician license or certification preferred.
- Experience in pharmacy, PBM, or insurance sectors preferred.
Schedule/Shift
11am-7:00pm with some rotating weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive calls from pharmacies, clients, and patients and provide requested information or support.
- Provide clinical call support for prior authorization-related inquiries and document these in the ticketing system.
- Understand benefit plans and appropriately communicate this information to patients.
- Escalate calls to the appropriate party for resolution when needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency across multiple communication platforms to ensure consistent service experiences.
