Patient Services Representative Compensation: $20.00 – $24.00 / hour Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with rotating weekend coverage)

Our client is looking for an adaptable, patient-focused Patient Services Representative to act as the ultimate liaison for their patients, pharmacies, and clients. In this role, you will take ownership of solving patient inquiries, troubleshooting claims, and ensuring customer satisfaction remains at the core of every decision you make.
What You’ll Do

Be the Expert Voice: Receive incoming interactions from pharmacies, clients, and patients, providing accurate support and information regarding pharmacy benefit plans while adhering to our client's policies and procedures.

Omnichannel Support: Seamlessly manage customer interactions across multiple platforms, including phone, email, and chat.

Problem Solve: Troubleshoot pharmacy claims submissions and provide clinical call support for prior authorization-related inquiries.

Document & Organize: Accurately track calls and issues in the internal ticketing system and assist in keeping pharmacy outreach queues up to date.

Collaborate: Provide cross-department support on special projects and escalate complex calls to the appropriate party for resolution.

Support the Team: Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend coverage to ensure patients always have the help they need.
What You Bring (Required)

High School Diploma or GED.

Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, preferably in a fast-paced call center, pharmacy, or healthcare setting.

Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams).

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask without losing focus on the customer.

Flexibility to work the required 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift, plus rotating evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
The Ideal Candidate (Preferred Qualifications)
We are seeking a healthcare specialist. Candidates with an active TX Pharmacy Technician License and National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) will move to the front of the line. Candidates with PBM business office experience performing outbound calls are highly encouraged to apply!
Don't have your full certification yet? There is room to grow! We are actively looking to transition driven individuals out of Retail Pharmacy or standard Healthcare Call Centers. If you are a Trainee or an experienced healthcare customer service professional, we will consider your application—provided you are committed to obtaining your TX Tech License and National Certification within 6 months of your full-time hire date.
