Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Front Office Manager to ensure a seamless patient experience. This role involves critical administrative and patient-facing responsibilities, including eligibility verification, payment collection, appointment scheduling, and supporting patients with digital paperwork, all while maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Ensure patient eligibility is checked and information is correct, especially for new patients.
- Collect copays and outstanding balances.
- Scan in images and patient documentation.
- Process patient check-outs efficiently.
- Schedule new appointments.
- Rotate as a floater, providing direct support to patients in the waiting room to complete digital paperwork.
- Ensure PCP letters are sent out and all necessary authorizations are completed.
- Verify that patients have registered through Phreesia and assist with data entry on tablets if information is incomplete.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of various insurance plans and ability to differentiate between them.
- Proficiency with Aprima and Phreesia software.
- Possesses a great disposition and excellent customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive professional.
- Willingness to assist wherever needed, demonstrating a team player attitude.
Experience
- At least 1 solid year of healthcare experience (excluding dental/vision).
- Experience in a high-volume medical office environment is highly preferred.
- Experience in a busy medical practice is preferred.
Skills
- Technical skills: Aprima and Phreesia software proficiency.
- Soft skills: Excellent customer service, great disposition, detail-oriented, proactive, strong team player.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to float to other nearby locations occasionally (happens rarely).
- Consistent and reliable attendance is crucial.
Schedule / Shift
Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
