Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support clinical operations, manage occupational health programs, and ensure workplace safety compliance. In this role, you will lead the site health center, manage return-to-work assessments, partner with HR and Environmental Health & Safety (HSE) teams, and deliver employee wellness programs. Certification sponsorship for CAOHC is available for qualified RN candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care & Case Management: Coordinate care for ill and injured employees, conduct Return-To-Work (RTW) assessments, perform fit-for-duty evaluations, and execute virtual screenings using standard medical triage protocols.

• Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, NIOSH, TSCA, SARA, and local occupational health requirements. Participate in chemical clearance, change management processes, and overall site hazard/risk assessments.

• Medical Screening & Monitoring: Administer employee health qualification programs, including new-hire screenings, hearing conservation testing, and respirator physicals (pulmonary function testing and phlebotomy as needed).

• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with site HR on FMLA and ADA Interactive Processes, manage incident-related drug testing, and partner with site Emergency Response Teams for emergency care delivery.

• Health Coaching & Wellness: Serve as an occupational health expert and Health Coach, driving site wellness initiatives, promoting employee health optimization, and maintaining strict confidentiality of electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) degree or higher. Ability to hold an active RN license in the practicing state.

• Certifications: CAOHC (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) certification preferred; certification sponsorship is available for qualified applicants.

• Experience: Background in Occupational Health, Emergency Room (ER), or Urgent Care settings preferred.

• Skills: Experience with spirometry (PFTs), physical exams, and occupational health monitoring programs. Strong cross-functional communication and clinical triage capabilities.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week (preferred schedule: 4 days/week at 5 hours/day, with flexibility to align with candidate and site needs).

• Duration: Estimated 3 to 6+ month assignment.
