Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Life Skills Aide who will be responsible for coaching and skill development, focusing on leadership, communication, reflective practice, and problem-solving skills. The role involves supporting supervisors and staff with trauma-informed, family-centered, and evidence-informed practices, monitoring development objectives, and ensuring alignment with program goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group coaching to supervisors and targeted audiences.
- Support staff in applying trauma-informed and evidence-informed practices.
- Develop coaching plans based on observations and professional goals.
- Track progress towards leadership development objectives.
- Identify professional development needs and recommend resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
- Collaborate with program teams to align coaching with organizational goals.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, public administration, or a related field; minimum of three (3) years of experience in child welfare or related fields.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant fields with experience in staff development or coaching.
- Valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance with recommended liability limits.
- Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of the foster care system and experience in reflective supervision.

Additional Requirements
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with flexibility for early or late scheduling.
- Remote position with some in-person travel required.
- Grant-funded position; position termination possible if funding is reduced or ended.
