Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Audiovisual Specialist to enhance and oversee the Visual Inspection Program for compounded sterile pharmaceutical products. This role involves implementing, monitoring, and improving inspection protocols to ensure product quality and compliance with safety, cGMP, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and manage the facility's Visual Inspection Program.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for visual inspection processes.
- Ensure the program meets quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine visual inspection activities and own systems for evaluating inspection performance.
- Handle defect classification, reject-rate monitoring, defect trending, AQL inspection support, defect library management, inspector qualification, procedural controls, and metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, sterile compounding, visual inspection, packaging, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or another regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Attention to detail and ability to identify, classify, and document product defects.
- Basic data analysis skills and ability to maintain accurate inspection records.
Experience
- Two to five years in pharmaceutical or sterile compounding experience.
- Experience performing visual inspection of sterile injectable products.
- Experience in a 503B outsourcing facility or FDA-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AQL inspection, defect classification, deviations, CAPAs, investigations, change controls, and quality management systems.
Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar tools for defect trending, metrics, and KPI reporting.
Additional Requirements
- 1st shift schedule (7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday).
