Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Implementation Specialist responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new employer groups, ensuring accurate plan setups, coordinating project timelines, and providing excellent client communication. The role significantly contributes to supporting the growth of our client by assisting account managers with implementation and management duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire onboarding process, including data collection, eligibility setup, and system activation.
- Review documentation and client requirements to ensure accurate plan setup.
- Coordinate workflows across multiple departments to meet implementation deadlines.
- Manage timelines, track progress, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain communication with clients and brokers, providing clear guidance and professional responses.
- Ensure accurate setup for plan benefits and perform quality assurance audits.
- Support testing activities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in benefits or insurance.
- Understanding of basic insurance plan setup and implementation processes.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with Jira, Zendesk, or other project management tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with TPA, PBM, and network arrangements is an advantage.
Skills
- Technical skills: Excel proficiency.
- Soft skills: Written communication, project coordination, and client service.
Schedule/Shift
Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, preferably in EST or CT time zones but not required.
