Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated Back Office MA who will float seamlessly between multiple providers in a high-volume clinical environment. The role involves managing patient care and flow, performing routine clinical procedures, and collaborating with a clinical team to maintain high patient care standards.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Provider Support: Float seamlessly between providers in a high-volume clinical environment (50–80+ patients daily across the clinic).
- Patient Care & Flow: Prepare and manage patient exam rooms and procedure rooms to maintain optimal patient flow
- Clinical Procedures: Perform routine back-office clinical duties, including EKGs, ear lavages, urinalysis, and vaccine administration
- Injections: Safely administer routine injections
- Procedure Preparation: Assist providers with minor in-office procedures, including setup, sterile field management, and post-procedure room sanitization.
- Collaboration: Partner with back-office clinical team to maintain high patient care standards and a supportive team culture.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate from an accredited institution.
Qualifications
- EMR Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating and documenting in Epic EMR in a fast-paced environment.
- Clinical Knowledge: Proven ability to safely administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections and immunizations.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to step in and float between multiple providers and room setups throughout the day without sacrificing patient care quality.
- Interpersonal Skills: Warm, personable bedside manner with strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and clinical staff.

- 1+ years of experience as a Back Office Medical Assistant
