Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Team Lead for a short-term contract role, supporting a high-volume annual re-verification season. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for both hands-on work and team leadership. Approximately 50–70% of your day will be spent on benefit verifications, helping patients re-verify their insurance coverage to ensure it remains active and applicable for their prescription medications. The remaining 30–50% of your time will focus on leading, coaching, and supporting your team to meet performance and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high volume of benefit verification through inbound/outbound calls.
- Lead and support the team to achieve performance and quality goals.
- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to a business casual dress code.
- Stay on camera throughout the workday to ensure accessibility.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Benefit Verification/Benefit Investigation.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in a call center as a Team Lead, Supervisor, or Trainer.
- Strong understanding of insurance terms (EOB, deductibles, claims, payer portals, etc.).
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
Skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work any schedule between 7am-7pm CST, Monday-Friday.
