Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Lead MRI Technologist to join our client's team. The primary responsibilities include performing MRI exams on various scanners, assisting in protocol review and entry, ensuring patient identification in compliance with command policies, and evaluating patients for contrast compatibility. Responsibilities also include operating MRI scanners, handling emergencies, ensuring MRI safety, and maintaining MRI equipment and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform exams on all brands and models of MRI scanners.
• Review and enter radiologist’s protocols for MRI patient exam orders.
• Verify and identify patient and procedure information in accordance with command policy.
• Respond to contrast reactions and emergencies according to set guidelines.
• Ensure proper patient positioning for procedures and provide physical and emotional comfort.
• Perform and document MRI scans across different body parts as per radiologist protocols.
• Select the proper equipment for MRI exams and manage quality control tasks.
• Maintain MRI suite, including stocking supplies and performing mandatory safety training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the MRI specialty.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist or in the MRI specialty.

Skills

• Technical proficiency with MRI equipment and protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements

• Two letters of recommendation attesting to clinical skills, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Schedule/Shift

Full-time: Monday to Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Part-time: Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
