Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Benefits Counselor to represent their interests in various client benefit fairs, wellness expos, and open enrollment presentations. The primary responsibilities include conducting benefit consultations, managing event logistics, and delivering client-specific benefit overviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent client on-site at client benefit fairs, wellness expos, and open enrollment presentations.
- Conduct "soft-sell" consultations by greeting prospective and current plan members, explaining plan benefits, checking provider network alignment, and assisting with mobile app downloads.
- Deliver client-specific benefit overviews, completing pre-event reviews for specialized client plan nuances.
- Manage basic booth logistics, including setting up event displays and handling materials post-event.
Qualifications
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated experience in employee benefits, healthcare navigation, open enrollment counseling, or insurance event support.
- Willingness and capability to travel extensively across national metro areas for multi-city event tours over a 3-month window.
- Outgoing and highly comfortable engaging event attendees.
Skills
- Strong language skills in English and Spanish.
- Industry-specific background in employee benefits and healthcare navigation.
- Exceptional soft skills, including interpersonal interactions and networking.
Additional Requirements
Travel is required extensively across national metro areas for multi-city event tours over a 3-month window.
