Job Summary
Our client is seeking qualified and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to provide direct behavioral health services to service members and their families. The role involves delivering vital mental health care, crisis intervention, and safety planning under a personal services arrangement supervised by Government medical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Perform a full range of clinical social work services within your scope of competency and professional privileges.
- Crisis Management: Provide comprehensive crisis assessment and safety planning for patients in distress.
- Clinical Records: Maintain high standards of health record documentation, ensuring at least a 90% encounter closure rate within 72 hours.
- Compliance & Ethics: Comply with the standards of The Joint Commission, medical staff bylaws, local station regulations, and Executive Order 12731 (Principles of Ethical Conduct).
- Adherence to Quality Metrics: Maintain low patient complaint rates, comply with schedule timeliness, and complete all required clinic metrics.
Qualifications
- Education & Licensure: Must hold a master's or doctoral degree in social work from an accredited institution and maintain an active, valid, unrestricted state license to practice independently as an LCSW.
- Clinical Competency: Must demonstrate clinical competency within the last 2 years in the clinical discipline.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills with standard Microsoft Office applications and the ability to adapt to government electronic health systems (e.g., MHS Genesis, AHLTA, CHCS).
- Security Clearance: Must undergo background security processing, including fingerprinting and completion of an SF-86 Questionnaire for National Security Positions.
- Health & Immunization Standards: Complete a physical examination and health screening prior to start; provide documentation of required immunizations/screenings (including Tuberculosis screening, annual flu vaccination, and Hepatitis B compliance or declination).

- Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Soft skills: Effective communication and crisis management skills.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work Monday through Friday between 0700 and 1800 (8.5-hour shift, including a 0.5-hour uncompensated meal break). Maximum 40 hours per week.
- Ability to hold an active, valid, unrestricted LCSW license in any U.S. state or territory.
