Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Configuration Analyst to play a key role in designing, analyzing, and implementing prescription benefit configurations. The ideal candidate will translate client benefit requirements into system specifications and manage the implementation of benefit changes and new business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and implement standard prescription benefit configurations.
- Translate client benefit requirements into system configuration and coding specifications.
- Implement benefit changes and new business requirements.
- Gather and interpret client requirements to determine the effects on plan design and claims adjudication.
- Recommend configuration/setup options to stakeholders.
- Perform testing and validation of benefit configurations to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot configuration and claims-processing issues.
- Collaborate with implementation, IT/development, claims, and other internal teams.
- Respond to internal/external audits and maintain documentation.
- Support implementation and conversion processes for clients.
- Identify and develop creative solutions to improve benefit configuration processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in benefit plan configuration and analysis.
- Knowledge of adjudication processes and system applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Access, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a team and excel as an individual contributor.
- Strong sense of urgency leading to the timely completion of projects and assignments.
- 1+ years of experience in PBM, with knowledge of prescription benefits preferred.
