Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include front and back-office operations, supporting vascular surgeons, and ensuring smooth clinical and administrative procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage the check-in/check-out process, including collecting co-pays and verifying identity.
- Schedule patient appointments, ultrasound scans, and outpatient procedures following practice protocols.
- Handle high-volume incoming phone calls, manage fax queues, and maintain electronic chart records.
- Verify insurance eligibility and assist with authorizations for diagnostic testing and procedures.
- Escort patients to examination rooms, record vital signs, and update medication lists in the EMR.
- Assist surgeons and providers during clinical consultations, minor procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms with sterile equipment and ensure sanitation and stock management.
Qualifications
- CMA required
- 2 years back office experience required
- Previous vascular experience preferred
- Previous front office experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred

- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
