Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include providing back-office support to physicians, assisting with examinations, and maintaining medical supplies. This role requires effective communication skills and a proactive approach to patient care and office duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general back-office support to physicians.
• Assist providers with exams as needed.
• Stock and monitor medical supply inventory levels.
• Maintain medication sample closets and prepare patients for testing.
• Obtain and communicate test and lab results as instructed by physicians.
• Answer patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Review and prepare patient charts.
• Train back-office staff as needed.
• Complete requests for information and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Facilitate the referral process and provide leadership for excellent customer service.
• Engage with team members and adhere to office policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of combined education and experience.
• Manual Blood Pressure/strong core competency skills.
• Preferred: Bilingual, Phlebotomy experience, Nephrology experience.

Skills

• Technical skills: Proficiency in manual blood pressure measurement.
• Soft skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
