Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Patient Service Representative responsible for various front desk and clerical duties in a medical office setting. The position involves direct interaction with patients and coordination with medical professionals to ensure efficient operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
• Support Corporate Compliance by upholding the Code of Conduct.
• Greet patients and manage the check-in process, including verifying insurance and collecting accurate demographics.
• Handle phone calls, schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Assist patients with referrals and scheduling processes.
• Collect co-pays, post charges, and manage patient balances.
• Provide patients with information concerning office policies and procedures.
• Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish - required.
• 2+ years of medical office experience.
• Front Desk experience.
• Athena proficiency - preferred.
• Team player.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to efficiently manage time and perform clerical duties meticulously.

Additional Requirements

• Spanish language proficiency required.
