Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Front Desk Specialist to serve as the Facility Administrator for a multi-specialty healthcare clinic. The role focuses on ensuring smooth front office operations, welcoming patients, managing the reception area, scheduling appointments, and supporting care teams with administrative needs while maintaining a professional and patient-centered clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check-in patients for all clinic services, ensuring a professional and compassionate patient experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and lobby area.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments for multiple specialties and manage referrals and follow-ups.
- Answer multi-line phones, screen and route calls, and manage inbound requests as per clinic protocol.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in healthcare administration.
- Strong patient service skills.
- Empathy and ability to support patients navigating recovery.
- Previous exposure to Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Integrated care is preferred.
Schedule/Shift
Monday through Friday with varying hours each day, amounting to 32-36 hours per week:
- Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: Half-day / telemedicine coverage initially while volume builds
