Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join their team. The primary responsibilities include planning and implementing clinical research protocols, delivering direct nursing care, and providing clinical coverage including nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement clinical research protocols, including data collection systems and study scheduling.
- Deliver direct nursing care and specialized procedures to adult and pediatric subjects.
- Collect, process, store, and transport biologic samples according to protocol guidelines.
- Assess opioid withdrawal using standardized scales and conduct monitoring and documentation.
- Perform point-of-care testing and quality control procedures.
- Provide clinical coverage for assigned shifts.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control procedures.
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
Skills
- Technical proficiency with clinical equipment and software systems.
- Strong data management skills, capable of handling study data.
- Physical capacity to handle extensive standing and walking.
