We are seeking a detail-oriented, Spanish-bilingual Medical Administrative Assistant to join our front office team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients, managing daily scheduling, front desk operations, and patient communications to ensure a smooth, efficient clinic flow.

Job Details

• Work Location / Modality: On-site

• Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Position Type: Temporary / Contract (FMLA Coverage through October, with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Check-In & Check-Out: Warmly greet arriving patients, verify identification, guide individuals through intake documentation, and coordinate patient routing to appropriate clinical areas.

• Scheduling & Calendar Management: Book, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments in person and via phone while strategically optimizing daily provider schedules.

• Phone & Communication Handling: Manage multi-line phone systems, record accurate messages, and triage patient inquiries to nurses and physicians.

• Record Management (EHR/EMR): Input patient demographic details, update medical histories, scan vital documents, and maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (Required).

• Experience: Proven track record in a customer service or customer-facing role.

• Compliance: Willingness to complete standard background check, drug screen, and compliance training prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a healthcare front office environment.

• Background or familiar knowledge in Urology or general medical practices.
