Job Summary

Our client is seeking a versatile, highly organized Medical Assistant to join their healthcare team. In this dual-role capacity, you will manage front-office administrative procedures while delivering direct patient care in the back office. The ideal candidate balances strong clinical competency with excellent customer service and administrative efficiency to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and smooth daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Duties: Perform patient intake, support providers, conduct diagnostic & lab work, manage injections & medications, and maintain clinic standards.
• Administrative Duties: Manage front desk operations, scheduling, records & communication, authorizations & orders, and assist with billing.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and an active credential (e.g., CMA through AAMA, RMA through AMT, or CCMA through NHA)
• Basic Life Support: Current CPR / BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Prior experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and practice management software.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA privacy regulations, and OSHA safety guidelines.

Experience

• 1–2 years of combined clinical and administrative medical assistant experience in an outpatient or primary care setting preferred.

Skills

• Technical proficiency with EHR systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

• Active Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities preferred.
