Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Epic Beaker CP Analyst with a strong clinical laboratory background to support ongoing reference lab integration, buildout, and enterprise-wide lab connectivity. This role is responsible for taking over primary ownership of the LabCorp reference lab interface and configuration, extending LabCorp build for newly transitioning facilities and Community Connect sites, and bridging into Epic Happy Together lab workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ongoing interface build, maintenance, and optimization for the primary reference lab partner.
- Configure and scale reference lab workflows for newly integrated main locations and Community Connect affiliate sites.
- Partner with interface teams to troubleshoot, test, and validate inbound/outbound HL7 data flow between Epic Beaker and LabCorp.
- Apply hands-on clinical pathology domain expertise to map complex lab tests and align order/result records accurately.
- Bridge Beaker build with Happy Together workflows to establish cross-system lab data visibility.
- Support Epic Beaker CP build and configuration across mixed operational environments.
- Design, execute, and document test scripts for order transmittal, reference lab ordering, and result processing.
Qualifications
- Hands-on clinical lab background such as MT/MLS/MLT bench experience or Clinical Pathology domain expertise is strictly required.
- Strong mastery of lab terminologies, test structures, specimen collection, and result verification dynamics.
- Current Epic Beaker CP Certification.
- Proven track record implementing, building, or supporting LabCorp reference lab interfaces and order transmittal workflows.
- Experience with Epic Happy Together lab record mapping and test code linking.
- Familiarity with Community Connect rollouts and multi-site reference lab architecture.
Additional Requirements
This is a full remote position during 8-5 EST core business hours.
