Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Support Representative to perform a variety of crucial tasks including processing medical requests, document management, and acting as a liaison between departments. The role aims to ensure efficiency and accuracy in service delivery within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming medical requests by confirming patient eligibility, insurance coverage limits, and doctor information.
- Accurately document clinical information using standard medical terminology.
- Ensure all requests meet specific state laws and company guidelines for healthcare utilization.
- Prepare files for medical review and escalate complex cases to Nurse Case Managers.
- Act as a primary point of contact for incoming calls.
- Organize and manage office communications, ensuring timely responses.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets to track daily workloads and produce performance reports.
- Create and update "how-to" manuals and digital training tools for team training.
Qualifications
- Tech savvy
- Strong medical terminology understanding (experience as a Medical Records Clerk, CNA or LPN background, healthcare call center role)
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Strong attention to detail for handling high volume inbound/outbound calls
Skills
- Technical skills: Proficiency in medical terminology

Education
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
For Full Time Employees: Hybrid work schedule, M & F at home, Office Tues-Thurs. Initial training full-time on-site for approximately 3-6 months.
