Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Clinical Scheduler responsible for managing and coordinating patient appointments. The role involves direct communication with patients, particularly those involved in motor vehicle accidents or personal injury cases, providing exceptional customer service and patient support in a fast-paced call-center environment. This position requires the ability to coordinate with attorneys and handle scheduling tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a daily worklist of patients who need to be scheduled.
- Confirm and coordinate patient appointments.
- Communicate directly with patients by phone.
- Answer patient questions and provide reassurance throughout the scheduling process.
- Coordinate with attorneys regarding patient care and scheduling.
- Provide a high level of customer service and patient support.
- Handle scheduling tasks in a fast-paced call-center environment.
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish is essential.
- Previous healthcare, scheduling, or customer service experience required.
- Strong patient and customer interaction skills.
- Comfortable communicating extensively over the phone.
- Typing test required, with a preference for high 30s–40+ WPM.
- Strong anatomy aptitude and ability to learn spinal anatomy.
Skills
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
- Typing proficiency (30 WPM or higher preferred).
- Knowledge of procedural pain management.
Additional Requirements
- On-site position with standard hours from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, or occasionally 10:00 AM–7:00 PM.
