Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Resident Vice President to provide leadership, direction, and oversight across various Health Services areas, including Case Management, Utilization Management, Quality Improvement, and more. The role is pivotal in ensuring organizational goals are met, maximizing health outcomes for health plan members, and fostering continuous improvement across departments.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Provide leadership and oversight in all Health Services areas to achieve organizational goals.
- Design and administer best practices to ensure healthcare quality and value.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and programs in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer.
- Operationalize benefits and programs such as Palliative Care and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan.
- Create and review departmental budgets and contribute to strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from CMS, DHCS, DMHC, and NCQA.
- Develop innovative solutions for data management in Health Services.
- Train, mentor, and appraise staff performance effectively.
- Attend off-site meetings as necessary.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Master's degree in business, healthcare, public health, or related field.
- Active unrestricted clinician license to practice in the State of California (RN, NP, PA, LCSW, or equivalent).
Qualifications
- Minimum of ten years of senior-level management experience.
- Knowledge of CMS, DHCS, DMHC regulations, and NCQA requirements.
- Successful leadership in program and change management.
- Strategic planning and development expertise.
- Experience in building and managing effective teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in applicable computer software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Schedule / Shift
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm PST (Hybrid schedule; some days might be longer based on workload).
