Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Operations to join their executive leadership team. This role is pivotal in overseeing day-to-day operational performance and developing long-term operational strategies. The successful candidate will drive organizational excellence across various domains including manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and inventory management while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational performance and long-term strategies.
- Drive organizational excellence in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
- 7+ years leading managers and directors.
- Experience within FDA-regulated environments such as pharmaceutical manufacturing and biotechnology.
- Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality systems.
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations in a growth-oriented environment.
- Experience leading large cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in managing budgets and operational performance.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced scientific degree, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, experience with facility expansions and FDA inspections.
Experience
15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within related fields such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, or other FDA-regulated environments.
Skills
- Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality systems.
- Proven ability in managing and scaling operations in growth settings.
- Experience in leading large cross-functional teams and managing budgets.
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
