Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to deliver attentive clinical support across patient visits in an OB/GYN office. The primary responsibilities include taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting physicians during procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, concierge-level clinical support across the patient visit.
- Taking patient’s blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and other vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist the physician during gynecologic procedures, including chaperoning.
- Drawing blood, collecting urine samples, and preparing specimens for testing.
- Coordinate referrals, imaging, prior authorizations, and surgery scheduling seamlessly.
- Gather and document reported symptoms for physician review, and process refill requests under protocol with physician authorization.
- Maintain accurate athenaOne documentation and a smooth, unhurried patient flow.
- Tracking and maintaining clinical supply inventory logs.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and refined experience at every interaction.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Qualifications
- CMA license from an accredited program.
- 2-3 years of outpatient medical office experience.
- High level of professionalism and communication.
- OBGYN experience highly preferred.
- AthenaOne EMR experience preferred.
