Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to deliver attentive clinical support across patient visits in an OB/GYN office. The primary responsibilities include taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting physicians during procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, concierge-level clinical support across the patient visit.
• Taking patient’s blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and other vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist the physician during gynecologic procedures, including chaperoning.
• Drawing blood, collecting urine samples, and preparing specimens for testing.
• Coordinate referrals, imaging, prior authorizations, and surgery scheduling seamlessly.
• Gather and document reported symptoms for physician review, and process refill requests under protocol with physician authorization.
• Maintain accurate athenaOne documentation and a smooth, unhurried patient flow.
• Tracking and maintaining clinical supply inventory logs.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and refined experience at every interaction.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications

• CMA license from an accredited program.
• 2-3 years of outpatient medical office experience.
• High level of professionalism and communication.
• OBGYN experience highly preferred.
• AthenaOne EMR experience preferred.
