Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Medical Office Manager responsible for overseeing clinical operations and ensuring clinical financial outcomes in a designated region. The role involves leading clinical initiatives and forming strategic partnerships to drive growth and maintain high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational guidance for performance-based medical management.
• Manage budget and risk factors.
• Analyze and report business performance to stakeholders including senior management.
• Lead the management of clinical divisions within the region.
• Analyze regional profit and loss outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with non-clinical departments.
• Develop and maintain strong provider relationships.
• Focus on improving patient care through innovation and implementation of new ideas.
• Execute high-quality decisions in a timely manner.
• Oversee staff hiring, development, and rewards in line with company strategy.
• Manage clinical duties performed by Extensivists, including patient consultations and care plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Hospitalist, Family Practice, or Internist roles, with consideration for residents and fellows.
• 1+ year of administrative experience preferred.
• 1+ year of managed care experience preferred.
• NPI is required at the start.
• Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
• Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency program in the U.S.
• Board Certification required.
• Medical License in the applicable state; DEA license required.
• Clinical confidence with a friendly bedside manner.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of administrative and managed care experience preferred, with over 5 years in related medical practice roles.
