Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced AR Specialist to support a temporary revenue cycle cleanup project. The primary responsibilities include reviewing and cleaning up AR accounts, assisting with write-offs, and utilizing Apero Health and other healthcare technology systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with a temporary AR cleanup project.
• Review and work existing accounts to identify outstanding issues.
• Assist with account cleanup, including write-offs and related AR tasks.
• Research account discrepancies and determine appropriate next steps.
• Utilize Apero Health and other healthcare technology systems.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and information.
• Communicate questions, issues, and findings proactively with the team.
• Adapt to changing workflows and project priorities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Apero Health is required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare AR experience preferred.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Highly task-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable adapting to changing processes and priorities.

Experience

• Healthcare accounts receivable experience.
• Experience working with Apero Health.
• Physician practice or physician billing experience preferred.
• Remote experience preferred.
• Commercial insurance experience preferred.
• Medicare Advantage experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Standard work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, with some flexibility.
• This is a temporary project assignment.
• Remote position.
• Client-provided equipment.
• Professional attire is expected for one-on-one video meetings.
