Title: Locum Tenens Interventional Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) –  Rainbow City, Alabama

Summary: We are seeking a Fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in the Evans, GA area. This outpatient-only assignment provides essential schedule coverage to meet high patient demand, focusing on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and fluoroscopically guided procedures.

Day to Day:

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and follow-up evaluations for adult patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions.

• Perform standard C-arm fluoroscopy-guided interventional procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency ablations (RFA).

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and manage pain medications in accordance with state PDMP guidelines and clinical protocols.

• Review and interpret diagnostic imaging, lab work, and prior medical records.

• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and coordinate care with nurses, clinical support staff, and referring providers.

Shift:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday (8:00 AM – 5 PM).

• Setting: 100% Outpatient clinic and procedural suite.

• Lifestyle: No call, no nights, no weekends, no inpatient rounding, and no emergency department coverage.

Qualifications:

• Credentials: MD or DO degree; completion of an accredited residency (Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology, EM, etc.) and an accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship. Board Certification in Pain Medicine.

• Licensure & DEA: Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license (or IMLC compact eligibility) and active DEA registration.

• Clinical Expertise: Proven proficiency in fluoroscopy-guided interventional procedures and outpatient chronic pain management.

• Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
