Title: Respiratory Therapist

Compensation:

• 36hrs - $2655/Week
• 48hrs - $3219/Week

Duration: 13 Weeks, Opportunity for Extension

Start Date: ASAP

Shift/Schedule: Night Shift: Rotating 3x12s, 4x12s (7pm-7am)

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, managing ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP and Vapotherm devices, performing arterial blood gas collection and analysis, conducting pulmonary function testing, EKGs, stress testing, and assisting with airway clearance therapies. The Respiratory Therapist collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Patient Population: Higher population of elderly patients with chronic respiratory conditions, rural population, little to no PEDs
• Patient Volume: 25 bed critical access hospital, ~15 patients typically

Required Skills

• Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
• CRT or RRT credential required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Schedule/Shift

• Night Shift, Rotating 3x12s and 4x12s
  • Night Shift 7pm-7am
  • 3x12s one week, 4x12s the next - flexibility on nights scheduled
