Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. The primary responsibilities of this role include analyzing and managing denied claims, following up on unpaid claims, coordinating with payers, and auditing account credits to ensure accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and appeal denied claims while logging details to track trends and inform leadership.
- Monitor the daily unpaid queue and contact payers every 30 days (or sooner) for status updates.
- Handle incoming information requests from payers and third parties.
- Audit account credits for accuracy and process insurance refunds.

- Outstanding time management skills, adept at prioritizing competing tasks, delegating effectively, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset focused on evaluating challenges and finding practical solutions.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining a calm, positive, and focused approach.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to adopt new tools and systems.
- Experience with Eclinical Works, understanding of ICD-10 and CPT codes is preferred.
