Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent to assist prospective and existing members with selecting the appropriate dental and vision coverage. The role involves managing member contacts across direct sales and customer support queues, driving sales, ensuring enrollment conversion, and providing high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist prospective and existing members with selecting appropriate dental and vision coverage, providing plan pricing, and completing enrollments accurately through designated enrollment platforms.
- Manage both inbound and outbound member contacts across direct sales and customer support queues, providing additional coverage during periods of increased call volume.
- Work toward established sales, enrollment conversion, retention, and customer service objectives while consistently meeting quality expectations.
- Provide personalized, professional assistance to Medicare-age members and strive to resolve questions or concerns during the initial interaction whenever possible.
- Confirm member demographics and contact details are current and complete, following required verification procedures.
- Maintain thorough records of member conversations, transactions, and account activity within applicable CRM, contact center, and enrollment systems.
- Provide additional scheduling flexibility and increased call support during the Annual Enrollment Period and other high-volume enrollment periods.
- Follow applicable state insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and internal compliance procedures when assisting members.
- Safeguard confidential member information and ensure all communications accurately represent available benefits, coverage details, eligibility, and pricing.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current, unrestricted Life & Health or Health/Accident insurance license for the state of residence.
- Willingness and ability to secure and maintain required non-resident licenses, carrier appointments, and professional liability/E&O coverage within designated onboarding deadlines.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks, carrier reviews, and applicable regulatory screenings.
- At least one year of experience providing insurance sales or customer support by phone; experience with dental, vision, health, Medicare, or supplemental insurance is preferred.
- Excellent communication and listening abilities, with a customer-focused approach to identifying needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume call center while navigating CRM, phone, and other digital systems.

State License
- Active licenses in California, Florida, Texas, New York, and Georgia.
- Active licenses in at least 7 of the following states: New Jersey, North Carolina, Nevada, Massachusetts, Arizona, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Missouri, and Virginia.
