Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Utilization Review Nurse to join their team. This role involves analyzing billing data, documenting work, and adhering to HIPAA regulations. The successful candidate will have a firm understanding of surgical implants and itemization review for designated clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect supporting data and analyze information to ensure billing accuracy.
- Document work and final conclusions in the designated computer program.
- Understand surgical implants and itemization review for designated clients.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in the O.R., ICU, NICU, or E.R. as an R.N.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Experience in medical bill auditing is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Understanding of surgical implants and itemization review.
- Excellent understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Additional Requirements
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Fully remote position.
