Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Principal Investigator to provide clinical protocol oversight and patient management within a dynamic trial setting. This role involves ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, monitoring patient safety, and collaborating with on-site staff and senior clinical leadership to ensure smooth study operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all trial-related procedures and documentation adhere to approved clinical protocols.
- Review patient charts and medical histories for eligibility determination for trial enrollment.
- Monitor patient safety and evaluate adverse events.
- Manage eClinical systems for timely review and sign-offs.
- Work closely with on-site staff and coordinate with clinical leadership to maintain trial continuity.
- Conduct periodic on-site visits and engage with study sponsors and monitors as required.
Qualifications
- Active board certification/licensure in Gastroenterology (GI), Endocrinology, Rheumatology, or Internal Medicine.
- Capability to act as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I).
- Proficiency in remote eClinical platforms, such as Creo.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based structure.
- Flexibility with a low-hour/part-time commitment (5–15 hours/week).
