About the Role
Are you an experienced Radiologic Technologist looking for a competitive weekly rate, a predictable weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays, and a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting?
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join a busy outpatient orthopedic practice in San Francisco. In this role, you will perform high-volume orthopedic X-ray scans using specialized equipment in a collaborative clinic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Imaging: Prepare and position patients for high-volume orthopedic X-ray procedures, covering all extremities as well as skulls, to produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
- Equipment & Systems Operation: Competently operate Del Medical X-ray equipment and utilize Canon Soft EHR systems for daily clinical workflow and documentation.
- Patient Care & Safety: Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and staff, ensuring safety, comfort, and a positive experience primarily for adult and minor populations.
- Quality Assurance & Maintenance: Maintain radiology equipment, keep supplies stocked, evaluate image quality, and strictly adhere to clinic policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside a team of technologists in a dynamic environment, efficiently handling patient flow in a high-volume outpatient setting.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic (Parking paid by client).

- Work-Life Balance: Strictly no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call obligations.
- Patient Volume: Fast-paced environment averaging around 30 patients per day per technologist (clinic sees 50–100 patients/day total when fully staffed with 4 techs across 2 machines).
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Certifications & Licenses: Active California CRT license (issued by CDPH) and ARRT (R) certification; limited license technologist candidates will also be considered.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on Radiologic Technologist experience required. Experience in a busy orthopedic practice, outpatient clinic, or high-volume ER/trauma setting is strongly preferred (candidates accustomed only to low-volume hospital settings may find the pace challenging).
- Technical Proficiency: Experience operating Del Medical equipment and Canon Soft EHR systems preferred.
- Soft Skills: Even-keeled demeanor, composure under stress, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy and patient focus in a fast-paced environment.
